Are you a strong communicator who enjoys storytelling, event planning, employee engagement, and working with leadership teams? We're seeking an Employee Communications & Events Coordinator to support a dynamic automotive research and development organization in the Greater Columbus area.

This is a great opportunity for an early-career communications professional looking to gain exposure to executive communications, company-wide initiatives, employee engagement programs, and special events while working in a collaborative and innovative environment.

• Create and coordinate employee communications, leadership messages, presentations, announcements, and organizational updates
• Support town halls, leadership meetings, employee events, milestone celebrations, and engagement initiatives
• Assist with executive and leadership communications across the organization
• Coordinate photography, video content, digital communications, and promotional materials
• Help plan and manage site visits, facility tours, company meetings, and special events
• Partner with leaders, Human Resources, and business stakeholders to ensure timely, clear, and consistent messaging
• Support communication efforts related to business initiatives, organizational priorities, and employee programs
• Assist with urgent or time-sensitive communications when needed
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, Business, or a related field
• 1+ years of professional experience in communications, marketing, public relations, administration, events, or a related area
• Excellent editing, proofreading, organizational, and project coordination abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
• Experience supporting executive or leadership communications
• Event planning, employee engagement, or corporate communications experience
• Experience creating presentations, newsletters, digital content, or internal communications

• Hybrid schedule with remote Fridays

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
