Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Orangeburg, SC Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio Monitor and interpret telemetry, including dysrhythmia identification, using bedside monitors equipped with telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry capabilities Float within scope of practice to other units as needed to meet facility staffing needs Work every other weekend as a non-negotiable scheduling requirement Utilize Epic electronic health records system for all documentation and charting Operate within a unit supported by 24/7 house supervisor coverage, with leadership available by phone during off-shift hours Required Qualifications Active South Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start date Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing Demonstrated experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Ability to commit to every-other-weekend scheduling requirement Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience in a community hospital setting First-time travel nurses will be considered Why Join Us Join a newly developed unit in an acute care hospital setting with 286 total staffed beds, offering the opportunity to help build and shape unit culture from the ground up Complimentary on-site parking provided for the duration of your assignment Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 772173.
