Funnel Designer & CRO Specialist Our client is a leading Amazon seller, an education and community platform. They help e-commerce brands scale through expert-led training, mastermind groups, workshops, and hands-on strategic consulting. Their programmes include webinars, multi-day challenges, membership communities, and 1-on-1 coaching delivered through sophisticated digital marketing funnels. Our client is looking for a dedicated, full-time Funnel Designer & CRO Specialist to join their marketing team remotely from South Africa. You will own all funnel design, landing page creation, and campaign automations across their programmes, replacing their current external agency. Their primary platform is GoHighLevel (GHL), and they are also adopting Perspective.co as a complementary mobile-first funnel builder for paid traffic campaigns where mobile conversion performance is critical. They are looking for someone who is not static or locked into a single tool, but who actively evaluates and adopts the best platform for each use case. This role has two equal pillars: Design Excellence You will create professionally designed, visually distinctive landing pages and funnels that reflect their premium brand positioning. They do not want template-based work. They want pages that look custom-built, with intentional visual hierarchy, sophisticated typography, strategic use of colour and whitespace, and a polished, modern aesthetic across every device. Conversion-First Thinking Every design decision must serve a conversion goal. You will own a continual CRO programme across all live funnels, running structured A/B tests, analysing drop-off points, and systematically compounding improvements over time. If you can make something beautiful but it does not convert, that is not good enough. If you can make something convert but it looks like a template, that is also not good enough. They need both. They value innovation. You will be expected to stay current with funnel building technology, recommend new tools and approaches, and push for better conversion outcomes rather than defaulting to "the way we've always done it." What You'll Do: Landing Page & Funnel Design Design and build high-converting landing pages and multi-step sales funnels in GoHighLevel that look professionally designed, not template-assembled Apply conversion-centered design (CCD) principles: visual hierarchy, encapsulation, directional cues, contrast, whitespace, social proof placement, and urgency Create custom page layouts with intentional typography, colour palettes aligned to brand psychology, and strategic whitespace Design for mobile-first, including thumb-friendly CTAs and optimised typography scaling Build webinar registration, challenge signup, VSL, membership onboarding, and lead magnet funnels Write custom CSS/HTML for advanced styling, animations, and brand-specific elements Create and maintain a consistent visual design system across all funnels Select and edit imagery that reinforces brand positioning Build forms with advanced conditional logic Mobile-First Funnels (Perspective.co): Build and deploy mobile-first funnels for paid traffic campaigns Use interactive, app-like funnel experiences for lead generation and registrations Leverage quiz-style progressive disclosure for lead qualification Set up built-in email and WhatsApp automation Integrate Perspective with GoHighLevel via native integrations or Zapier Run A/B tests and compare performance with GHL funnels Recommend optimal platform usage based on data Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) – Ongoing: Own a continuous CRO programme across all live funnels Develop and execute a structured testing roadmap Run A/B and multivariate tests Analyse funnel performance and identify bottlenecks Diagnose conversion problems using CCD principles Report weekly on conversion metrics and revenue impact Use heatmaps, session recordings, and analytics Benchmark against industry standards Campaign Automation: Design and build multi-step workflow automations Create email and SMS sequences with behavioural logic Set up follow-up, reminder, and re-engagement workflows Implement lead scoring and segmentation Build post-purchase and onboarding automations Integration & Technical: Integrate GoHighLevel with Stripe Build Zapier/Make workflows Configure tracking and analytics Manage email deliverability and DNS settings Manage domains, SSL, and routing Optimise page performance Documentation & Collaboration: Document funnel architectures and workflows Maintain a living design system Create internal runbooks Communicate progress and results clearly Collaborate on campaign and funnel strategy Required Skills & Experience: Design (Non-Negotiable) Professional-grade visual design skills with a portfolio of custom landing pages Mastery of visual hierarchy Typography expertise Strong colour theory knowledge Strategic use of whitespace Mobile-first design approach Advanced CSS/HTML proficiency Proficiency in Figma and graphic design tools Conversion & CRO (Non-Negotiable): Strong CCD philosophy Proven CRO results A/B testing expertise UX and friction reduction experience Trust signal placement strategy Platform & Technical (Non-Negotiable): 3+ years' experience with GoHighLevel Portfolio of GHL funnel builds Workflow automation expertise Integration experience Willingness to learn new platforms Excellent English communication Reliable internet and workspace setup Strongly Preferred: GoHighLevel Certified Admin Experience with mobile-first funnel builders Education or membership business experience Webinar and challenge funnel experience Heatmap and analytics tools experience Email deliverability expertise Remote work experience Nice-to-Have: GoHighLevel skills badges Experience with AI features Motion design skills Membership platform experience Amazon/e-commerce industry knowledge Portfolio Submission (Required): All applicants must submit a portfolio including: 1.
