Quality Engineer II

Quality Engineer II supports post-market and sustaining engineering for released medical devices in the Vessel Sealing and Dissection portfolio. The role ensures design changes and product improvements comply with quality management systems, design controls, and risk management standards while partnering with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality standards and protocols for device processing and finished materials
- Design inspection and testing mechanisms; conduct quality assurance tests and statistical analyses
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality standards are implemented
- Support design change assessments, documentation updates, and risk evaluations for released products
- Ensure corrective measures meet reliability standards and documentation compliance requirements
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in relevant field plus minimum 2 years quality engineering experience
- Master's degree in relevant field (0 years experience minimum)
- Knowledge of quality management systems and design control requirements
- Experience with inspection, testing, and statistical analysis methods
- Ability to work independently on moderately complex projects with general supervision
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
