Oral Surgery Treatment Coordinator Full Time

What You'll Do

As a Treatment Coordinator, you'll be an important part of the patient journeyfrom consultation through surgery. Responsibilities include:

• Guide patients through recommended treatment and help them understand their next steps
• Review treatment plans, fees, insurance benefits, and financial options
• Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures
• Provide outstanding customer service while helping patients feel informed and comfortable
• Insurance verification, payment collection and posting
• Communicate with surgeons, clinical teams, referring offices, and other team members
• Follow up with patients to answer questions and assist with scheduling
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Travel between practice locations based on scheduling and business need

POSITION PURPOSE We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in managing patient treatment plans and associated fees, relieving the surgeon from discussing these details with patients. You will play an integral part in our team, with responsibilities spanning administrative tasks and patient interactions, offering opportunities for learning and growth.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Educational Background: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
• Experience Required: Previous dental or medical administrative experience is required.
• Billing Knowledge: Previous experience in dental or medical billing is preferred.
• System Knowledge: Familiarity with dental/medical practice management systems.
• Multitasking Ability: Demonstrated ability to multitask and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer Service Expertise: Experienced with customer service techniques, ensuring a superior patient experience.
• Communication Skills: Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with patients and team members.
• Adaptability: Willingness to take on other duties as assigned and adapt to the evolving needs of the practice.
