Coronary Principal Clinical Specialist - Bakersfield, CA

Medtronic seeks a clinical specialist to provide technical, educational, and sales support for coronary and renal denervation products in the Bakersfield region. The remote field-based role requires regional travel up to 70% and direct engagement with hospital accounts and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical troubleshooting and support during coronary procedures and product implementations at assigned accounts
• Conduct physician and hospital staff training through one-on-one sessions, in-service programs, and seminars
• Support regional sales strategy implementation and coordinate with sales representatives to achieve business objectives
• Handle technical inquiries, complete case documentation, and communicate case updates to sales team
• Maintain current product knowledge and serve as primary customer contact for daily operational support

Requirements

• High school diploma plus 11 years healthcare clinical or sales experience, or equivalent education/experience combination
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 70% within assigned territory
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong medical terminology knowledge and medical device industry understanding
• Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
• Project management experience and ability to coordinate marketing and training programs
