Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Alabama state physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
• Ability to meet productivity expectations: approximately 60 visits per week and 12–14 patients per day; double-booking of follow-up visits expected. (Preferred)
• Authorization to work up to 36–40 hours per week; overtime must be approved by the clinic director.
• Must be a licensed PT; PTA candidates will not be accepted.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous outpatient clinic experience with orthopedics preferred.
• Experience working in travel teams or floating within a regional clinic network is a plus.

Assignment Details

• Shift: Days.
• Floating to other clinics is not required.
• Option to participate in a travel team at this clinic or a neighboring clinic.
• 36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours per week; overtime requires director approval.
• Productivity expectation: 60 visits per week; typical daily patient load 12–14 with some double-booked follow-ups.
