Neonatal ICU (NICU) Registered Nurse in Plano, TX

Deliver exceptional neonatal care as a Registered Nurse in a Level III/IV NICU environment. This contract opportunity calls for a compassionate and skilled professional eager to make an immediate impact supporting infants with critical health needs.


Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a hospital NICU setting
• Proficient clinical skills specific to neonatal intensive care, including advanced life support interventions, assessments, and medication administration
• Current certifications: BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Strong critical-thinking and communication abilities, with a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary care
• Detail-oriented with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to changing clinical situations

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to neonatal infants requiring advanced monitoring and intervention, including ventilator and ECMO management as needed
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and family members to provide high-quality, family-centered care
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document care accurately in electronic medical records
• Educate and support families on infant care, NICU procedures, and discharge planning
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols at all times
• Participate in clinical rounds, care conferences, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
