Maintenance Technician

Our client, Food Manufacturing Industry is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Rice, MN Pay Range: $25-$35/hour, based on experience Shift: 2nd Shift (3 PM - 11 PM) What's the Job? Perform electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair on production equipment, control panels, motors, sensors, and power distribution systems. Install, configure, program, parameterize, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley VFDs (PowerFlex series and similar); diagnose faults, replace drives, for conveyors, shredders/dicers, Fanuc Robot and Matrix VFFS packaging equipment. Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and electromechanical systems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC ladder logic, and technical manuals. Support mechanical maintenance tasks as needed (bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, pneumatics). What's Needed? Hands-on experience troubleshooting and working with Allen-Bradley VFDs (PowerFlex 525 or equivalent). Solid understanding of three-phase power, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred), sensors, and basic industrial controls. Ability to read electrical schematics and use multimeters, clamp meters, and other diagnostic tools. Knowledge of lockout/tagout, electrical safety, and industrial safety practices.
