Solar Farm Construction Project Manager

We are searching for a Solar Farm Construction Project Manager on behalf of our client. This is a 2-months contract assignment.(W-2) You would need to be is familiar with NYSERDA and EPC project Management.

Location: Avon NY 14414. Per diem available

2-months contract assignment.(W-2)

Responsibilities:

• Site Management with overseeing ground-mounted system installation and coordinating with contractors to ensure adherence to local Avon, NY solar regulations.
• Grid Interconnection: Will manage technical aspects of connecting high-capacity solar systems with the Solar Farm
• Will be handling project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication from development through commissioning.

Requirements: -

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with technical installation on commercial solar systems.
• Need to have a strong ability to read and understand solar energy system drawings and schematics.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Detail-oriented with strong project management capabilities.

Helpful Qualifications

• A two or four-year Technical Degree
• Experience with Helioscope or similar solar design software
• Background managing commercial solar projects from 50kW to 1.5MW scale
• Familiarity with utility interconnection processes and AHJ permitting.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $40.00/hr. to $45.00/hr.
