Position Overview

Responsibilities Of The Junior Accountant
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, review and post journal entries, and monitor transactions for completeness and accuracy.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and customer collections.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes while coordinating with other teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop annual budgets and forecasts, monitor performance, and provide variance analysis.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and identify trends and opportunities for cost optimization as Junior Accountant.
- Assist in preparing tax returns and support audits while ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations.
- Work with external advisors and internal stakeholders to support accounting and financial reporting initiatives.
- Strong Excel skills are required.
- Minimum of 6 month of accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree as Junior Accountant.
- Experience with full-cycle accounting, including financial reporting and month-end close.
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree
- CPA certification or progress toward CPA is a plus.
- Continuing education in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance standards, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools is preferred.
