Hospitalist - PRN

Responsibilities
- Provide emergency evaluation and triage, admission, and formation of differential diagnoses.
- Develop comprehensive care plans based on current evidence‑based protocols.
- Provide primary and consultative medical care to patients admitted to various units.
- Coordinate patient care through collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and ancillary service providers.
- Keep patients informed and provide periodic updates.
- Participate in utilization management, risk management, and performance improvement programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience as a Hospitalist.
Licensing
- Current medical license issued by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
