Transporter

Summary : The Transporter is a functional position accountable to the basic standards of practice for transporters. The transporter assists in the transporting of patients throughout the hospital. Responds to all codes. Secures appropriate equipment when asked. Orients new personnel in accordance with performance standards. Participates as a member of the patient care team taking into consideration needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Experience: Less than one year

Education: Preferred: High School / GED

Licensures & Certifications: Required: Basic Life Support

Pay Range : $17.00 to $22.59 Based On Experience
