Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant ' Outpatient Internal Medicine

Sarasota, Florida

Full-Time | Monday'Friday | No Weekends

A busy Internal Medicine practice is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least one year of post-graduate experience in an Internal Medicine or Primary Care setting. This is a strictly outpatient role with a stable Monday'Friday schedule (8:00 AM'5:00 PM), offering excellent work-life balance.

Position Overview

The provider, under the direction of the attending physician, will:

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients
Manage chronic and acute conditions
Establish and follow treatment plans
Perform ongoing monitoring and patient education

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of postgraduate experience in Internal Medicine/Primary Care
Experience with Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, and HEDIS coding (required)
Active Florida license
BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred
