Position Summary

The Payroll Application Specialist isresponsible forsupport, training,andmaintenance of information relatedto Time& Attendance,StaffScheduling, (aswellashowthesemodulesintegrate withothersystems).ThePayroll Application Specialist willinteractandcommunicate effectively withmanagement, staff,andvendors.

Essential Job Outcomes

1.Represents Central Scheduling Liaisons at each campus in any API/Symplr initiatives.

2.Standardizes, prioritizes, and evaluates Central Scheduling Liaisons delivered services across all entities in conjunctionwith the Central Scheduling Liaisons direct supervisors.

3.Advocates for MemorialCare to ensure vendor solutions meet Payroll and Scheduling needs and outstanding issues are resolved timely. Serves as a primary functional liaison on any escalated API/Symplyr issues and system enhancement requests.

4.Works with Central Scheduling liaisons to ensure updates in the API/Symplr system follow the established standards and adhere to MHS policies.

5.Provides testing and auditing assistance as upgrades are implemented and communicates changes to Payroll and Scheduling accordingly.

6.Participates in configuration and testing of system changes including new pay codes and rules.

7.Routinely communicates (verbally and in writing) with Payroll management regarding system issues.

8.Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills when training management and or staff on functionally of API/Symplr modules.

9.Able to create reports out of API/Symplr.

10.Duties include analyzing data, strategizing ideas to improve business operations and provide suggestions based on the analysis.

1. Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to help others understand business performance.

12.Assist with Payroll processing duties as needed.

13.Other duties as assigned.

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
