After School Activity Leader

Job SummaryThis recruitment will be used to fill part-time positions working 3.75 hours per day, 9 months per year. Under the direct supervision of the After School Site Manager and the indirect supervision of the Director of the After School Program, supervises groups of students, during indoor and outdoor activities, including homework assistance, nutrition lessons, conflict resolution activities and free play; assists site coordinator in routine preparation and clean-up tasks; supports and promotes the vision of establishing an extended learning opportunity for students; and performs related duties as assigned.Requirements / QualificationsGraduation from high school or equivalent; some experience, paid or volunteer, working with children – or – such alternative the personnel commission may find desirable. Certificates: Must possess and maintain a current First Aid CPR Certificate by either the American Heart Association or Red Cross (Only online courses not acceptable). Must possess and maintain a valid Activity Supervisor Clearance Certificate (ASCC) obtained from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing OR FBI/DOJ Fingerprint clearance at time of employment.CPR/First Aid Certification (Current First Aid CPR Certificate by either the American Heart Association or Red Cross)Resume
