Flat River Group has experienced incredible growth, and we now have multiple US-based distribution facilities.Your Mission in This Role We’re recruiting an Inventory Control Team Lead to help direct and lead tasks and processes related to inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and warehouse operations within our distribution center. This position is responsible for supporting inventory control activities, leading cycle count efforts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and assisting departmental supervisors while promoting accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork throughout the warehouse.The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, confidence working with inventory counts and reconciliation processes, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills when working with internal teams. This individual should be a dependable team player who can lead by example, support fellow team members, and be willing to learn and adapt to Flat River Group processes and procedures. Join our team and be part of a dynamic ecommerce company that values its employees and fosters a collaborative, supportive work environment.What You’ll Get to Do Lead regular efforts to verify inventory within the Distribution Center and maintain accuracy of all inventory transfers between DCs and units on hold.Reconcile inventories and adhere to cycle count schedules.Ensure the Inventory Control (IC) team upholds all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety measures.Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, making efficient use of space and following safety guidelines.Regularly inspect and report any issues with warehouse equipment—such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners—and ensure they are well-maintained and safe to operate.Participate in operational improvement projects and events to enhance processes and efficiency.Support training of associates in the operations department and provide leadership using a team approach to create a positive work environment.Effectively communicate with internal teams, provide direction for those working in the department, and promptly escalate issues or concerns to the supervisor or operations manager.Understand the basic functions of all other departments.Perform other related duties as required, including working in other departments when priorities shift.All other duties assigned.Skills That Make You Shine Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlinesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and work under tight deadlinesReliable attendance and adherence to company attendance policiesAbility to work well within a team and drive the completion of tasksGood communication skills, both within the department and interdepartmentallyAbility to problem-solve and think criticallyGeneral computer operating knowledge, with the expectation that you must become proficient with the FRG Portal and WMS system, and Microsoft OfficeAbility to assign tasks to others and follow up with those tasksStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitaskMust be able to achieve successful forklift training and certification after hire into the positionMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance repeatedlyMust be able to lift 50-75 pounds without assistance occasionallyAbility to stand and/or walk for 8-10 hours for 5-6 days/weekAbility to regularly bend, twist, stoop, and reachExperience That Sets You Up for SuccessHigh school diploma or equivalent required.1+ years of experience in warehouse environment and operations preferred.1+ years of experience in leadership or supervisory position preferred.Previous forklift operator experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
