Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This vital role spans from August 31st to November 30th, covering a maternity leave with a full-time schedule of 35–40 hours weekly. Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will help empower students while collaborating with a committed educational team.

Your Expertise and Background:

• Valid SLP certification (CCC required)
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably school-aged children
• Familiarity with traditional SLP duties in school settings
• Knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs
• Adept at collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, addressing a variety of communication needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, interpret results, and document findings
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input on communication goals
• Maintain required student records and progress documentation
• Possible travel between assignments if more than one school is assigned
