Personal Banker

Position Overview As a Personal Banker within PNC's retail branch organization, you will be based in Melrose Park, IL. Bilingual Spanish is preferred. Responsibilities Acquires and deepens the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities, managing the customer experience and identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing. Drives proactive sales conversations through inbound and outbound interactions, including outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement to elevate client loyalty. Creates customer loyalty and grows wallet share through a differentiated customer experience, engaging customers in lobby interactions, positioning PNC products, and educating on financial transaction options. Applies product and procedural knowledge to mitigate and solve customer problems effectively to drive loyalty. Manages risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits and participating in branch daily operations in an efficient and accurate manner. Qualifications 3+ years of relevant experience in banking or a related field; an Associate’s degree or equivalent education plus product knowledge is preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, leverage technology, and engage customers proactively. Proficiency in banking products, digital awareness, effective communications, managing multiple priorities, problem solving, prospecting, and retail lending. Basic understanding of customer needs and the ability to drive customer loyalty through a differentiated experience. Compensation Base Salary: $45,375 – $75,625. This role is incentive eligible with performance‑based payment.
