Operational Key Account Manager

Manage and grow key accounts Work closely with clients to ensure satisfaction and oversee operational aspects of shipments Collaborate with internal teams to provide exceptional service Act as primary contact for key accounts Build relationships within customer organizations Ensure rates are current and communicated Provide clients with market insights Maintain and update SOPs Oversee operational activities and identify risks and service gaps Monitor customer and DSV performance according to KPIs Facilitate contract and rate negotiations Develop account plans and structure deal teams Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred 5+ years of experience in key account management in the transportation and logistics industry preferred Experience with supply chain management, transportation, warehousing, and distribution Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Knowledge of transportation and logistics industry trends and best practices Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software is preferred Demonstrates expertise in key account management within the transportation and logistics industry, focusing on client satisfaction, operational oversight, and strategic relationship building.
