This full-time role begins in early September and runs through late June, aligning perfectly with the academic year. Role Highlights:

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:00pm (school year schedule)
• Contract runs from early September to late June; initial meeting day before students arrive
• Deliver 8 high-quality therapy sessions each day for MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) and general education students
• Collaborate in a shared therapy space with a Physical Therapist, promoting an integrated care model
• Work closely with teachers, families, and school leadership to support student success and access to learning

What You Bring:

• Current Occupational Therapist license in New York State (required)
• Experience or strong interest working in a school-based setting
• Ability to effectively serve a diverse elementary population, including those receiving general education and MTSS support
• Comfort collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and shared spaces
• Strong communication skills and an engaging, student-centered approach

Responsibilities Include:

• Assessing students’ needs and developing individualized treatment plans
• Providing direct therapy services and documenting progress
• Supporting classroom participation, functional skills, and student independence
• Consulting with educational staff and families for holistic support
