Title: Materials Planner Duration: 12 Months Location: San Antonio, TX Schedule: 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM (w/lunch) Monday-Thursday Local Candidates Only in San Antonio, TX Only W2 Candidates Are Eligible for This Position. Third-Party or C2C Candidates Will Not Be Considered.

Description

• Work within a material planning team at San Antonio manufacturing facility where we build Class 6-8 commercial trucks and EVs.
• Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.
• Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules.
• Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering.
• Develops specifications for new contract orders.
• Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems

Desired Skills:

• Proficient with MS Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and no experience (OR)
• At least 2 years of shop order planning and purchasing experience
• Strong excel experience with V-Lookup

Note:

• They have made the determination to mandatory 10 hour days this week.
• We will be transitioning to 10-hour days in the future. 4/10's M-Th
• It is required that consultants wear steel-toed shoes all day long.
• No jewelry as this is a plant environment.
