Certified OR Tech/Surgical Tech

The position requires proficiency in orthopedic, neuro, and general surgical procedures. Travelers must have experience in all three areas. Shift hours are three 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, including holiday requirements. There is no on-call requirement. Travelers must work one holiday during the 13-week contract. All requests for time off must be included upfront. Candidates must hold a valid state license and be prepared to work while obtaining any required out-of-state licenses. Strong experience in general surgery, ortho (total joints), and neuro is essential. Big belly, cranial, or ortho trauma experience is highly preferred. Robotic training is also highly preferred. The facility serves a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, infants, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Surgical services include general, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, gynecology, oncology, robotics, ENT, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and sports medicine. Special equipment used includes robotic systems and advanced imaging technologies. The facility is a Level I trauma center with comprehensive on-site nursing coverage. Additional unit details will be provided during the onboarding process.
