Long Haul Project Engineer

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Fiber OSP Project Coordinator / Long Haul Permit Specialist to support large-scale Long Haul fiber projects. This role requires a strong background in OSP engineering, permit coordination, utility collaboration, and long haul fiber infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting project execution from design review through permitting, maintenance coordination, and dispute resolution.This position will work closely with engineering teams, utilities, municipalities, and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of fiber network projects while maintaining compliance with client and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and coordinate Long Haul (LH) fiber projects from planning through executionManage project activities related to utilities, permitting, engineering coordination, and field supportUtilize AT&T systems supporting Long Haul projects, including GMO and related platformsReview Long Haul OSP CAD designs and provide feedback for constructability and permitting readinessCoordinate permit submissions with municipalities, utilities, railroads, and other agenciesTrack permit approvals, rejections, revisions, and project timelinesCollaborate with OSP Engineering teams and field personnel to resolve design and construction issuesSupport maintenance activities and assist with dispute resolution related to fiber infrastructure projectsEnsure project documentation, records, and reporting are maintained accuratelyCommunicate effectively with internal teams, clients, vendors, and external stakeholdersRequired QualificationsExperience supporting Long Haul Fiber or Telecommunications projectsStrong project management and coordination experience within telecom or utility environmentsWorking knowledge of AT&T systems supporting Long Haul projects (GMO and related systems preferred)OSP Engineering knowledge with field experienceExperience reviewing OSP CAD designs for fiber projectsPermit coordination and submission experience for telecom infrastructure projectsKnowledge of utility coordination, maintenance processes, and dispute resolutionStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting AT&T Long Haul fiber programsPrevious experience working with municipalities and utility companiesFamiliarity with telecom construction and permitting regulationsKnowledge of fiber network deployment processes and OSP construction standardsSkills RequiredLocationAllen, Texas, United States of AmericaDesirable SkillsDesignationAssociate
