Mechanical Engineer

We’re seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading MEP consulting team in Washington DC . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical engineer who wants to take a technical leadership role while working on complex, high-profile building projects. What You’ll Do: Lead the design of large and complex mechanical systems. Develop sustainable mechanical solutions, concepts, and detailed design drawings. Provide consulting services including due diligence, gap analyses, and feasibility studies . Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, and telecom disciplines. Work closely with clients, owners, contractors, and project teams. Establish project design standards, specifications, budgets, and schedules. Oversee drawing production and participate in QA/QC reviews. Mentor and support staff while assisting with resource management. Support proposals, business development, presentations, and client relationships. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. 3+ years of experience in an MEP/consulting engineering environment. EIT or PE highly preferred Strong AutoCAD and Revit experience. Ability to fully design mechanical systems across multiple building types. Experience with commercial, mixed-use, mission critical, life science, or R&D facilities is highly valued. Strong multidisciplinary coordination and constructability knowledge. LEED AP accreditation is highly preferred. Solid, stable career history with strong communication and leadership skills. Why Consider This Opportunity?
