Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ conditions, specifically focusing on the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms. \n Collaborate with clients to devise individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and goals. \n Employ evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment. \n Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them throughout the therapeutic process. \n Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued progress toward their mental health goals. \n Work in coordination with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care to clients. \n Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder therapies to enrich your practice. \n Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation adhering to legal and ethical standards. \n Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops. \n Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and work towards reducing the stigma around mental health issues in the community. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n You will engage with a broad spectrum of clients, specifically those facing mood disorders including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your role will also involve working closely with vulnerable groups such as individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse.
