Rooted in heritage and attuned to the present, The Surrey, A Corinthia Hotel invites a new generation to experience the Upper East Side with the ease of a local and the elegance of a classic The Surrey, a Corinthia Hotel is seeking to recruit a IT Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing, hiring and development for the pre‑opening of The Surrey, a Corinthia Hotel. The IT Manager is a dynamic leadership role that requires expertise in attracting, developing, and retaining excellent people who have a passion for providing superb service for a globally recognized luxury hospitality brand. Summary of Responsibilities Responsible for IT hardware and software operations, maintenance, contracting, and supervision. Coordinate with upper management and the Head of Technology on new computer system developments and software. Manage, plan, Co-ordinate & supervise software & hardware installations and configuration. Involved in designing and setting up of structured network inside the hotel environment. Research, develop and implement new projects geared toward upgrading the hotel's network, information, and computer security systems. Lead and support the hotel operations on all aspects of MIS. Assist with the procurement of IT hardware and software for the hotel. Effect re‑training, system fine tuning etc. in order to ensure that IT systems are utilized properly and maximum benefit is realized. Oversee network and data security issues within the hotel. Skills and Qualifications Hospitality, Travel or Tourism experience in a luxury environment Minimum of 3 Years of experience in a managerial role. Skills in project planning and delivery Good understanding and technical knowledge of current network and PC operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards. Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day‑to‑day management. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
