Location: Oklahoma City, OK, US, 73120 Req ID: 482048 Welcome to Love's! Retail Accounting is seeking a skilled Staff Accountant II to join the Love's Truck Solutions Accounting team, responsible for managing daily accounting operations and identifying opportunities for process optimization and enhancement.
Major Responsibilities:
- Complete journal entries.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, identifying key trends or variances.
- Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and workpapers, taking further action when necessary.
- Support in the preparation of deliverables for operations and communicate supporting information.
- Complete various regulatory filings.
- Use independent judgment in developing enhancements to the efficiency and effectiveness of tasks, reports, or other procedures.
- Understand the Company's reporting systems and processes.
- Build productive working relationships with other accounting departments and operations.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
Experience and Qualifications: HS Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in accounting typically required. Experience: 2 years of related experience. Skills: Hard skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong emphasis on Excel. Soft skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to make decisions under pressure and meet strict deadlines, excellent time management skills, detail-oriented, ability to multitask and be a team player. Typical Physical Demands: Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
