Mohave Eye Center is seeking a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist / Cataract Surgeon to join our physician-owned, physician-led private practice in Kingman, Arizona.

This is a unique opportunity to step into an established practice with the referral infrastructure already in place to support 1,000+ cataract surgeries annually. Rather than spending years building referral relationships, you'll inherit a mature surgical practice supported by Mohave Eye Center's integrated network of optometrists, ophthalmologists, technicians, and staff across multiple locations.

Designed for a surgeon who enjoys both cataract surgery and comprehensive ophthalmology, this position offers a schedule focused primarily on surgery while preserving one dedicated clinic day each week to manage your own medical ophthalmology patients.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform high-volume cataract surgery
• Evaluate surgical candidates and conduct pre-operative consultations
• Perform pre-operative planning and postoperative care
• Maintain one comprehensive ophthalmology clinic day each week
• Diagnose and manage glaucoma, anterior segment disease, diabetic eye disease, and other medical ophthalmic conditions
• Collaborate with Mohave Eye Center's integrated OD/MD team to provide comprehensive patient care

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation

• $240,000 guaranteed base salary
• Production-based compensation model
• Established referral volume and production compensation provide significant earning potential above the guaranteed base
• Four-day workweek

Qualifications:

Required:

• MD or DO
• Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology Residency
• Eligible for or currently licensed to practice medicine in Arizona

Preferred:

• Board Certified in Ophthalmology
• High-volume cataract surgery experience
• Glaucoma training or fellowship
• Commitment to practicing both cataract surgery and comprehensive ophthalmology
