Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary Join a multi‑billion dollar manufacturing organization for a contract‑to‑hire role as a Mechanical Engineer. This role will be responsible for mechanical design engineering for hardware projects. Candidates will execute project plans and document work and test results. Candidates should have experience with Creo, PLM/PDM systems, and GD&T. This is an opportunity that could lead to a full‑time role with an organization seeing massive growth. Job Details Location: Richardson, Texas Type: Contract Salary: $40 – $45 per hour Work Hours: 8am to 4pm Education: Bachelors Responsibilities Ensure all designs meet strict requirements for manufacturing efficiency and commercial profitability Create 3D CAD Models, assemblies, and surfacing using Creo Produce technical 2D drawings with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing for manufacturing Perform simulations and analysis to validate design functionality and strength Create BOMs, manage revisions in Product Data Management systems Qualifications Proficient with Creo Experience with PLM/PDM systems, preferably Windchill GD&T and tolerance stack‑up knowledge Experience level: Experienced Minimum 5 years of experience Education: Bachelors (required) Skills Mechanical Equal Opportunity Employer Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
