Only apply if you are ready for:Real adventure & variety: See cool places, meet interesting people, and step outside of your comfort zone.A clinical challenge: Expand your skills, build a powerful clinical knowledge base, and deliver exceptional pre-hospital care.Competitive compensation: We value your flexibility and expertise, and our pay reflects that.Compensation:$30-33/hourHousing stipend: $675.00/weekBenefits:Medical, dental, and vision coverageLife, AD&D, critical illness, short-term and long-term disability plans401(k) retirement planPaid sick leaveCore responsibilities:Respond to emergencies and administer pre-hospital care in response to IFT and 911 calls.Coordinate directly with law enforcement agencies and perform vital patient assessments.Deliver basic life support (BLS), conduct pharmaceutical interventions, and perform CPR during critical cardiac, toxicological, and neurological emergencies.Maintain ambulance safety protocols and ensure all medical supplies are stocked and ready for action.What you will do:Scene assessment & triage: Evaluating the emergency scene for safety and determining the nature and severity of a patient's injury or illness.Documentation & reporting: Recording observations, treatments, and patient history, and clearly relaying this information to receiving doctors and nurses.Equipment maintenance: Inspecting the ambulance and medical equipment to ensure the vehicle is clean, sanitized, and fully stocked for the next emergency call.Travel adaptability: Must possess the flexibility to relocate and the clinical agility to integrate instantly into new emergency response teams. A proactive attitude toward shifting schedules and diverse patient demographics is essential.Requirements:Basic qualifications:1+ years experience as an EMTNational registry: EMT (NREMT)American Heart Association: BLS (AHA BLS)Current immunizations (MMR, Hep B, TDAP)Negative TB test within the last 12 monthsPreferred qualifications:5+ years of experience in a busy 911 system as an EMTAverage work tenure of three yearsPrevious traveler experience with Best Practice Medicine
