Team members benefit from working in a close-knit, community-oriented environment with a focus on quality service and customer satisfaction.Role Description The Spray Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Haymarket, VA. The Spray Technician applies fertilizers, herbicides, and other turf care products according to company standards and safety guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting lawns, diagnosing turf issues, calibrating and operating spray equipment, and documenting treatments performed at each property. The role also involves communicating with clients about services provided, answering basic lawn care questions, and maintaining a clean, organized vehicle and equipment. The Spray Technician works closely with the team to ensure timely service, proper product usage, and high-quality results for both residential and commercial customers.QualificationsExperience with lawn care, turf management, or related outdoor maintenance work.Ability to safely mix, apply, and handle fertilizers and pesticides in accordance with regulations.Skill in operating, calibrating, and maintaining spray rigs and other lawn care equipment.Strong attention to detail for inspecting properties and documenting treatments accurately.Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members in a professional manner.Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift/move equipment as needed.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel locally to client sites.Ability to follow safety protocols and company procedures consistently.State pesticide applicator license or willingness to obtain one (company-supported training where applicable).Previous experience in residential or commercial lawn care is preferred but not required.
