Job Description

JOB FUNCTION:

Greets new patients and visitors
Verifies and updates patient information in the EHR
Schedule new and follow up appointments
Create visits when patients present for services and update demographics as necessary
Maintains patient medical records such as scanning prescriptions, update information, labs/reports in the EHR system
Scanning documentation into specific image titles into EHR on a daily basis

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collects co-pays and/or full payments at time of service
Receipting and posting payments
Answering phones, checking messages and returning phone calls in a timely manner
Other clerical duties as needed
