Physical Therapist Assistant

The Siskin Group is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join a Physical Therapy clinic located in El Cajon, San Diego. The position is patient‑driven, providing quality care to a diverse group of patients. The clinic also offers orthopedic, massage, functional therapy, and sports rehabilitation services. This role can be part‑time or full‑time. Salary $35 per hour. Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Opportunities for advancement Responsibilities Assist patients in exercising or practicing daily functional tasks, correcting form, motivating them, and ensuring their safety. Review and administer individualized treatment plans for each patient. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress. Provide support using devices such as walkers, canes, or wheelchairs. Encourage and mentor patients undergoing major life changes. Maintain all equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment. Qualifications Education and Experience Current state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role. Experience in rehabilitation and patient care. Strong background in physical therapy. Skills and Abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities. Organizational skills. Proficient computer skills. Ability to work well in a team. Ability to make decisions in a high‑stress environment.
