Logistics Analyst

Our client, a leading healthcare and life sciences provider, is seeking a Logistics Analyst to manage the day-to‑day interaction and coordination of the import/export of items entering/exiting the US. This role is critical to delivering the business through ensuring operations meet compliance and customs requirements, are accurate and efficient, meeting customer and production demands. Import of materials directly impacts production sites and exports support foreign manufacturing sites as well as sales to end customers. Core Responsibilities Perform activities in compliance with Government rules and regulations, organizational policies, procedures, goals and objectives with minimal supervision Responsible for expediting the process by liaising with regional coordinators, Warehousing/Distribution, and Plant & Production planning Responsible for coordinating logistics for shipments (ocean, air, land, rail) working closely with freight forwarders, brokers, Transportation Contract managers and internal stakeholders Responsible for ensuring all work is completed in a timely and compliant manner, adhering to all internal policies and government regulations. Responsible for ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with US and foreign customer Responsible for auditing team members files to ensure files are maintained in audit‑ready status Participate in an internal or external (USCBP/EPA) audits Responsible and accountable for accurate, timely and compliant processing of all orders for assigned countries and/or product portfolio Remain current on all applicable regulations through formal training and self‑guided initiatives Develop, maintain and train team members and stakeholders on Standard Operating Procedures associated with assigned portfolio Collaborate cross‑functionally, across divisions and internationally to identify and implement best practices and maintain a culture of continuous improvement. Responsible for being the key contact for foreign partners / customers Conduct import/export operations process training as required Responsible for handling complex global trade accounts/trade lanes Become Subject Matter Expert for assigned business units Required Skills/Experience (Must‑Haves) Bachelor's Degree 3+ years’ experience in Business, Supply Chain, International Commerce, or related field Ability to read and write English with strong verbal and written communication skills Strong working knowledge and experience with data systems (e.g., MS Office Suite, ACE, SAP, GTS, Amber Road, OneSource) preferred Due to the nature of the role, must have the flexibility to work outside of normal hours when necessary Working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to APHIS, Customs and Border Protection, USDA and other government agency laws and regulations Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice‑to‑Haves) Knowledgeable in Import/Export, Trade & Compliance, Shipping/Logistics preferred Experience with agricultural and/or chemical products preferred Strong project/deadline management and excellent analytical skills Location: St. Louis – hybrid Hours are flexible with the expectation to be sure 8 hours per day worked/40 hours per week worked (T-W-Th onsite & M-F Remote) Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $50,000 and $59,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
