Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Adult Outpatient Services Annual Salary: $125,000 Full-time Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am -4:30 pm We are seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and treatment services for adults living with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders in Hampton, VA. What does a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Adult Outpatient do? As a Full-Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Adult Outpatient at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, you will provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and treatment for adults with serious mental illness in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications under a collaborative practice agreement, responding to client crises, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will also provide therapeutic support and educate clients and families on treatment plans while considering individual mental health, cultural, and financial needs.
