CMM Quality Inspector – Aerospace ManufacturingLocation: Winsted, CTShift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PMPay: $20–$30/hr + 15% Shift DifferentialWe are seeking an experienced CMM Quality Inspector to support precision aerospace manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for performing first article, in-process, and final inspections on tight-tolerance machined components while ensuring compliance with customer and quality requirements.ResponsibilitiesPerform first article, in-process, and final inspectionsOperate CMM equipment and inspection softwareRead and interpret blueprints and GD&T requirementsUse precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and comparatorsDocument inspection results and quality recordsIdentify non-conforming material and support corrective actionsMaintain compliance with aerospace quality standardsQualifications2+ years of quality inspection or CMM inspection experienceExperience operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing environmentStrong blueprint reading and GD&T skillsProficiency with precision measuring instrumentsStrong attention to detail
