Radiation Therapist

JOB SUMMARY - A Radiation Therapist is responsible for the day-to-day scheduling and treatment of patients needing radiation therapy. Therapists develop a close bond with each patient, starting during the orientation process for each patient’s experience, and through to completion of therapy. They ensure patient’s questions and concerns are addressed, and that therapy is optimized. Work closely with the dosimetrist on all technical delivery of radiation, and act as an expert in the quality assurance and function of the equipment used to deliver radiation. This role enjoys the flexibility a small team provides and is willing to assist in all areas of radiation oncology. Qualifications Education : Associates or better. Experience : 3 years preferred.
