Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk. The hourly rate for this position is $25.57 per hour. What You'll Do:

This position is responsible for providing manufacturing expertise and support, including but not limited to sorting, verifying, recording, and routing incoming and outgoing shipments. The incumbent will support every aspect of the shipping, receiving, and warehousing functions. Essential functions include operating and reading handheld RF units to find, move, and allocate material; using resource management system (SAP) to process all incoming and outgoing freight; preparing items for shipment by assembling containers, posting weights, and affixing proper postage and paperwork; interfacing with shipping office, customer service, drivers, and carriers to ensure proper delivery; using forklift to load and unload trucks at shipping dock and move material to assigned locations; completing daily inspection checklists and performing 5S housekeeping duties as necessary; coordinating emergency shipments and shipments to off-site postal carriers; and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic qualifications include one or more years of warehouse experience, a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution, legal authorization to work in the US without company sponsorship, use of information or access to hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), ability to remain standing for an extended period of time up to 8 hours, and ability to lift to 35 lbs. on a regular basis. Preferred qualifications include ability to read and interpret blueprints, weigh scales, measuring tapes, and rulers; experience using SAP or other warehouse management system; and three or more years of warehouse experience.
