This is a fully remote role open to candidates based in the US or Canada. As a Senior AI Engineer, you’ll play a key role in integrating AI into core product features, working cross-functionally to design, prototype, and deploy AI-powered tools that bring genuine value to users. You’ll join a growing team with a strong engineering culture and a deep appreciation for both scientific communication and technical excellence. What you’ll do: Build and integrate AI solutions across products and internal workflows Work closely with product and engineering teams to identify and implement AI use cases Evaluate and apply LLMs and other AI technologies beyond basic coding tools Help shape AI strategy and architecture within the company Mentor others on best practices and emerging trends in applied AI What we’re looking for: 7 to 12 years of experience in software engineering Experience integrating AI and LLMs into production applications Proven ability to work cross-functionally and translate business needs into technical solutions A thoughtful, pragmatic approach to applying AI to real-world problems Bonus Experience in life sciences, biotech, or scientific tooling Interest in scientific communication or education This is a great opportunity to join a mission-driven team helping scientists around the world communicate their work more effectively.
