Make a meaningful impact while working alongside a collaborative healthcare team!Job Details• Pay: $86.00 - $92.00 per hour • Schedule: Full-Time • Shifts: Day Shift • Location: Pismo Beach, CA • Duration: 6-9 Month Contract (possible temp to perm)Benefits• Great working location on California's Central Coast • Health insurance • Refer-a-friend bonus • Weekly payroll • 24-hour accessibility • Personalized serviceMinimum QualificationsEducation Qualifications:• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner programLicenses and Certifications:• Active California Nurse Practitioner • Current DEA Registration (Required) • DOT Medical Examiner Certification (Preferred) • Current BLS Certification • Bilingual English/SpanishExperience:• Minimum of 3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience • Family Practice, Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Pediatric experience • Ability to work independently in an outpatient clinic settingResponsibilities• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with scope of practice • Provide care to pediatric and family practice patient populations • Order and interpret diagnostic testing • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, preventive care, and wellness • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care • Perform occupational health evaluations and DOT physicals when applicable • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining clinical excellenceSkills• Strong patient assessment and diagnostic skills • Proficient in medication administration and treatment planning • Ability to care for pediatric patients in a clinic setting • Strong communication and patient education skills • Excellent organizational and documentation skills • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environmentAbout UsPower Personnel has been working with healthcare professionals like you since 1994.
