Are you looking to join a dynamic team where safety and efficiency are top priorities? Kelly is hiring Material Handlers for our warehouse operations in  Romeoville and  Joliet ! If you have experience operating  SIT DOWN, REACH TRUCK , and/or  EPJ  equipment, we want to hear from you.

Locations:

• Romeoville
• Joliet

Shifts Available:

• 1ST AND 2ND SHIFT

Hourly Rate:

• $19/hr - $22/hr

Experience Required:

• Selected candidates  must have SIT DOWN / REACH TRUCK and/or EPJ OPERATOR EXPERIENCE

Job Purpose:

• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (REACH TRUCK, SIT DOWN, EPJ) safely and efficiently.
• Use computers and handheld RF equipment for warehouse tasks.
• Handle all inbound and outbound freight properly and orderly.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and carriers safely, following procedures.
• Store stock correctly and maintain organized stacking in the warehouse.
• Provide material handling services for shipping and receiving.
• Work flexible shifts and perform tasks at heights as needed.
• Verify shipment accuracy against paperwork.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and safety policies.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance inspections.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Possess a sense of urgency, accountability, and work with limited supervision.
• Exhibit strong communication, problem-solving, and people skills.
• Be flexible with overtime and shift coverage.
• Utilize PC skills.
• Build pallets and break down stock for orders.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse.

Education and Experience Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Warehousing certifications are a plus.

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret general business documents.
• Write reports and correspondence effectively.
• Present information clearly to managers, clients, and customers.

Physical Demands:

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Work comfortably in an indoor environment with physical activity requirements.
• Work under stressful situations with cognitive skills for multitasking.
