Patient Care Manager

The expectation is that PCM is willing to float between all hospitals, as needed with being at St. Paul PICU at first. Locations include Children's MN at 345 Smith Ave N, St. Paul, MN 55102 and Children's MN at 2525 Chicago Ave, Mpls, MN 55404.

Shift: Day/Evening/Night - days with expectation that occasional evening/night work may be needed depending on operational need. Not full shifts on evenings or nights. Shift Length: Variable Weekends: Per unit need Call: Yes Assignment Length: 18 weeks Start Date: We would like to have them start as soon as possible.

Requirements: Active RN on Minnesota Board of Nursing required, BLS required, Bachelor's degree in nursing required, 3+ years of people leadership experience or advanced degree in nursing leadership in lieu of experience. Informal leadership experience is preferred (charge RN, clinical educator, preceptor, etc.).

Responsibilities: Responsibility for ensuring that services and programs provided through their assigned department/unit is child and family focused, clinically appropriate, operationally efficient, and achieves effective patient outcomes. The PCM will directly manage RN staff and assist in leadership of clinical support staff.
