We are seeking a Retail Trade and Environmental Law Associate with litigation experience to support the firm's Retail Trade and Environmental Practice Groups. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation, legal research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters involving retail trade and environmental law.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
• Collaborate with attorneys across various practice groups as needed.
• Provide strategic legal advice and client support.
• Participate in business development and client relationship activities.

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar admission and good standing.
• Litigation experience.
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Environmental Law, Commercial Litigation, or Regulatory Matters.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Prior experience with retail trade, environmental compliance, or related litigation matters.
