The organization aims to enhance the quality of life for those who have served by addressing their unique needs and empowering them to thrive in civilian lifeShift options:AM Shift (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)PM Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)QualificationsMinimum of twelve (12) months of experience within the last three (3) years rendering direct patient care in public or private institutions.Clinical competencies must be current and provided to the Home prior to the staff being assigned.Minimum of six (6) months of experience working with an electronic Medication Administration Record System and an electronic Medical Records System.ResponsibilitiesOrganize, provide, and maintain necessary health care services consistent with CalVet policies and procedures.Plan and implement nursing care. This includes administering medication, therapeutic agents, treatments, disease prevention, physicians' orders, and obtaining specimens for diagnostic testing.Participate as a member of the Interdisciplinary team in developing multi-disciplinary treatment efforts; complete assigned weekly summaries, formulate care plans, assist physicians with rounds; note and institute physician orders.Collect information regarding patient status and report the results to the Primary Care Provider (PCP) or RN in a timely manner.Provide Resident education and accurately document care in the approved format.Assist mental health professionals by contributing to the treatment planning process and the formal evaluation of Resident progress by monitoring and recording observed patient behavior.Document the nursing care and treatment provided in the resident's health record and the resident's response to facilitate the continuity of care and communicate with other health care providers.Ensure that staff utilizes optimum resident care standards and that staff members always observe safety and Infection Control Precautions and regulations.Licenses, Permits, And Certification RequirementsLVN - valid license as LVN issued by the California State Board of Vocational Nurse ExaminerFor more information, please contact:Thavi Louanlavong, CSMPresidentSITER - NEUBAUER & ASSOCIATES An affiliate of MRINetwork1250 East Copeland Road, Suite 740 | Copeland TowerArlington, Texas 76011 (V) View phone number on click.appcast.io ext.
