Required Skills & Experience
• \tMaintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment\n•\tStrong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills\n•\tExperience working on conveyors, pumps, motors, gears, and pneumatic systems\n•\tBasic electrical troubleshooting experience\n•\tAbility to read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documentation\n•\tOwn basic hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, socket sets, Allen wrenches)\n•\tAbility to wear steel-toe boots and work in a production environment\n•\tExperience performing preventive maintenance and responding to equipment breakdowns

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking Maintenance Technicians for a leading food manufacturing client. This candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and packaging equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The technician will play a critical role in maximizing equipment uptime, reducing production interruptions, and ensuring safe and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, experience with preventive maintenance programs, and a passion for keeping manufacturing equipment operating at peak performance. Experience within food manufacturing and automated production environments is highly preferred.\nDay-to-Day:\n•\tTroubleshoot and repair production and packaging equipment\n•\tRespond to maintenance calls and work orders throughout the plant\n•\tPerform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment\n•\tDiagnose equipment failures and minimize production downtime\n•\tSupport conveyors, pumps, motors, gears, ovens, and pneumatic systems\n•\tPartner with production teams to keep operations running efficiently\n•\tMaintain maintenance logs and repair documentation\n•\tAssist with installation and startup of new equipment\n•\tSupport spare parts inventory management\n•\tEnsure compliance with FDA, OSHA, and food safety standards\n•\tParticipate in plant continuous improvement initiatives
