As home to the largest contingent of contracted Red Team operators supporting the Department of Defense, Millennium delivers unparalleled threat intelligence and battle-tested expertise to both DoD and federal civilian customers.Millennium is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate or allow discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law.Job ResponsibilitiesEngineer and maintain optimal performance and availability of customer AWS environments using IaC and automation.Diagnose and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues and provide support for technical hurdles related to cloud systems.Work closely with IT stakeholders, developers, security analysts, and project managers to align infrastructure with business goals.Lead automation initiatives and provide guidance/mentoring to junior engineering staff.Create and maintain technical documentation for architecture decisions, automation processes, and compliance artifacts.QualificationsActive Secret Security ClearanceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field (Degree must be ABET-accredited; degree from a regionally accredited institution)7 years of software or network engineering experience with 3+ years of consistent experience specifically in AWS Cloud Security, DevOps, or DevSecOps.AWS security/networking: VPC, firewalls/NGFW, IDS/IPS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail.DevSecOps/CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab, AWS CodePipeline; SAST/DAST/SCA.Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or CloudFormation.Python, Bash, or Go automation.Policy-as-code, security automation, and auto-remediation.ECS/EKS and container security experience.This position is remote but visits to customer site (Charleston, SC) will be required. Currently, customer site visits for Program Increment Planning occur four times per year, one week each.Physical Requirements:Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.COMPENSATION: $145,000- $150,000 The salary range provided for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee a specific salary or compensation amount.
