Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury is a one-of-a-kind rehabilitation and community re-entry facility in Lake Katrine, NY (near Kingston, NY), specializing in:
- Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
- Ventilator Care and Ventilator Weaning
- Neurobehavioral Disorders
- Complex Medical Recovery
We are currently looking for a Physical Therapist-Per Diem
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate competence in Physical Therapy evaluation, goal setting, treatment, and EMR documentation
- Chart appropriately and timely
- Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers
- Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
- Maintain an excellent working relationship with facility staff members
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Provide dependable, regular per diem coverage
Requirements:
Must possess a degree from an accredited academic program conferring the title of Registered Physical Therapist.
Possess a current, unencumbered, NYS license and maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- 1 year of experience in a therapist capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility preferred
