Mid/Senior Java Developer | Contract

Overview We are looking for a Mid/Senior Java Developer to join a long-term telecom project. The role involves designing and developing scalable backend solutions, working with microservices architecture , and ensuring high-performance systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Java development , solution design , REST APIs , and modern delivery practices such as CI/CD , Docker , Kubernetes , and DevOps . Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable backend solutions using Java . Work with microservices architecture and contribute to technical solution design . Build, maintain, and optimize REST APIs and backend systems. Support delivery through CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering practices. Work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes . Apply software security principles and development best practices. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders in a long-term project setup. Must-Have Requirements Proven experience in Java development with a strong technical background. Expertise in solution design and microservices architecture . Hands-on experience building and optimizing REST APIs and backend systems. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker , and Kubernetes . Knowledge of DevOps practices and related tools. Solid understanding of software security principles and best practices. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Lithuanian citizenship required. Fluent Lithuanian . English B2+ , written and spoken. Nice to Have Experience working on telecom projects.
