Position: Automotive Sales Specialist (Full-Time, Non-Exempt)

Location: Tulsa, OK (On-Site)

Operating Schedule: Dealership Retail Hours (Includes Saturdays)

Required Experience: 5+ Years of Direct Customer-Facing Sales/Service

Base Pay & Structure: $15/Hour Base Pay + Performance Commission

Estimated Earnings: $50,000 - $100,000+ Total Target Compensation

Rather than relying solely on traditional walk-in lot traffic, our sales team actively engages buyers through modern digital marketing, social media direct messaging, CRM lead follow-up, and phone consultation, guiding customers through our inventory from initial inquiry to final delivery.

Ideal Candidate Profile

· Demonstrated Customer Experience (5+ Years Preferred): Strong, documented history in customer-facing roles where client satisfaction, rapport building, and active listening were critical to success.

· Results-Oriented & Goal-Driven: A competitive mindset that thrives on hitting monthly targets, overcoming objections, and continually closing deals.

· Digital Proficiency: Comfortable navigating computer CRM systems, smartphone messaging apps, email, and social media channels (e.g., Facebook Marketplace) to communicate with prospective car buyers.

· Professional Communication: Clear, persuasive verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly both in person and remotely.

· Coachability: Previous automotive sales experience is welcomed but not required; candidates must be willing to learn and execute our dealership's established sales processes and standards.

Core Responsibilities

· Prompt Lead Engagement: Respond promptly to inbound prospective customer inquiries received via dealership website portals, phone calls, text messages, and social media listings.

· Consultative Sales: Conduct vehicle walkarounds, explain vehicle features, accompany customers on authorized test drives, and help buyers identify vehicles matching their needs and budget.

· Deal Coordination: Gather basic customer information, assist applicants through standard credit pre-approval workflows, and present transparent financing and pricing packages in coordination with dealership management.

· Active Pipeline Follow-Up: Utilize dealership CRM tools to maintain organized customer records, track lead status, and conduct consistent follow-ups with prospective and past buyers.

· Merchandising Support: Assist in creating digital video walkarounds and photo updates of dealership inventory for online marketing channels.

Position Qualifications & Requirements

· Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in direct customer-facing sales, retail, hospitality, or client support roles.

· Valid U.S. Driver's License with a clean, insurable driving record (bona fide occupational requirement to conduct test drives and transport inventory).

· Proficiency with technology including smartphones, email applications, and database/CRM software.

· Availability to work standard dealership retail schedules, including Saturdays, within a full-time 40-hour work schedule (or applicable FLSA-compliant overtime/sales commission structure).

· High professional standards, punctuality, and a commitment to compliant, ethical sales practices.

Compensation & Benefits

• Guaranteed Hourly Base Pay ($15.00/hour) plus aggressive sales commissions and unit bonuses.
